Bloodshot Records was an independent record label based in Chicago, Illinois, specializing in roots-infused indie rock, punk rock, and alternative country. It was founded in 1993 by Nan Warshaw, Rob Miller, and Eric Babcock. Babcock left the label in 1997, followed by Warshaw in 2019. The label itself shuttered briefly in 2021 before being sold on October 23rd, 2021 to . It sat dormant until announcing plans for a new release by Layng Martine, Jr. in May 2023.
