This textless logo's name was reconfirmed in 2021 to be "ソニー・レコーズインターナショナル" (Sony Records International) per https://cocotame.jp/series/025528/ The imprint was previously (co-)controlled by Sony Music Japan International Inc., Sony Music Direct (Japan) Inc. and Sony Music Records Inc., all of which were companies merged into Sony Music Labels Inc. Note: 'Sony Records International' used to be a division and was thus mentioned on the spine. Today it is merely an imprint, so the company mentioned on the spine will instead be "Sony Music Labels" (since April 2014), or "Sony Music Japan International" or "Sony Music Direct (Japan)" (2002 - 2014).
