German label founded in 2008 by Chris Boltendahl (singer and songwriter of German metal veterans Grave Digger (2)) and Holger Koch (former A&R of Nuclear Blast, Head of International Locomotive Music and business manager of Doro). The name Metalville is inspired by Motown Records - their recording studio was named "Hitsville".
