In the 1970s, the label imported the sound of the German Cosmic Couriers on to the Italian market, with licensed editions of records published in Germany by labels such as Ohr, , and . The president of the label was Giacomo Mazzini. It was distributed by EMI. In 1996 Mina sold PDU to Mediaset.
