Madlib Invazion is an American independent hip-hop label, launched in 2010 by Los Angeles-based producer and DJ Madlib. Before starting the label, he used Invazion as a name for his production/publishing entity, so it frequently appeared in credits. The label opened with a Madlib Medicine Show series of albums, announced in November 2009 with a plan release 12 parts, on a monthly basis. Eventually, the series was completed in 2012 with 13 CDs, six LPs and six limited edition LPs released. Another ongoing album series on the label is called Rock Konducta. It includes hip-hop instrumentals produced by Madlib using samples from various rock, prog rock, krautrock and psychedelic rock records. See also Mad Lib Invasion, Inc.
