She began her career as an actress, gaining early fame through the Australian television series Neighbours before launching a music career in 1987. She's the sister of recording artist Dannii Minogue. Signed to PWL (Pete Waterman, Mike Stock, and Matt Aitken), Minogue became one of the defining pop acts of the late 1980s with hits such as “I Should Be So Lucky,” “The Loco-Motion,” and “Better the Devil You Know.” Her sound evolved through the 1990s and 2000s, moving from bubblegum pop to dance, electronic, and disco influences.
