British guitarist. Born: June 24, 1944, in Wallington, Surrey, United Kingdom. Died: January 10, 2023 from bacterial meningitis in a hospital near his home in Wadhurst, East Sussex, UK. Inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Yardbirds in 1992 and in 2009 as a solo artist.
