A progressive death metal band from Finspång, Sweden, active between 1989–1999, and briefly in 2003. Edge of Sanity as a band dissolved in 1999, but former vocalist/composer Dan Swanö resurrected the band name in 2003 for one more time and recorded the "Crimson II" album, which was a solo studio project with guest musicians.
