1960s-1990s soul label from Chicago, Illinois, founded by Curtis Mayfield & Eddie Thomas. For the record company, please see Curtom Records, Inc. and . For the label's publisher, see Initially distributed by Buddah Records for the 8000 & 8600 series (Yellow label, "We're A Winner" text & Buddah's 'Shiva' logo). The label then moved to Warner with the 5000 series (Yellow label, Warner text). RSO then distributed for a period, with artists also appearing on Capitol Records & Boardwalk Records. In 1997, the label was sold to Rhino Records (2).
