Chilean record company established in Chile in 1927, but operating under the name "EMI Odeon Chilena S.A." since 1975. Previously named EMI Odeon Chilena S.A. It manufactured LPs and also was one of the first Chilean companies to manufacture cassettes in the late 1970s together with . In 1982 probably to the low sales of vinyl records in Chile and the popularity of the Cassette format, EMI Odeon Chilena S.A. stopped pressing vinyl records (except Singles 7" and promotional records) so the external companies and pressed Records to be distributed in Chile by EMI Odeon Chilena S.A.. In 1988 EMI Odeon company released in Chile the first CD recorded by a Chilean group, which was the album "[r17015304]" recorded by . From 1983 to 2000, EMI Odeon Chilena S.A. was the main cassette manufacturer in Chile. In 2004 the company was renamed .
