Prosto Label was founded in 2001 on initiative of Sokol (a rapper of WWO and ZIP Sklad from Warsaw/Poland). He became disaffected by the rules of the world of phonographic majors, so he desired to go independent. Independence and quality – these words make the definition of style of action in Prosto. Prosto release albums of unsubmissive artists deriving from urban environment and its symbol – the street. Also taking care of the best tone and sound of the recordings and promote them professionally. Albums marked with Prosto logo can be also distinguished by amazing artwork and the videos they produce win awards on festivals. Prosto doesn’t restrict its operation to the field of music. A separate division of enterprise – Prosto Wear – designs and produces collections (Klasyk, Sport, Elegancko) of high quality clothes for active inhabitants of cities. Prosto having its background in street hop, sign artists of various urban music genres, already released over 30 complete albums on CDs & vinyls. Music were staying on the top of charts in Poland and videos got the rotation on TV in France and Czech Republic. An asset of this company are the international relations and contacts. The acts give live performances across the Europe and in the US, and cooperate with producers and rappers from Germany, Canada, Ukraine, France, USA, Greece, Cuba, Czech, Australia, Russia and numerous other countries. Prosto released polish editions of the album of Soundkail (France) and the mixtape of Shuko (Germany) and a compilation of modern Cuban street music.
