Lightstorm Entertainment is an American independent film and television production company, co-founded in 1990 by renowned filmmaker James Cameron and producer Lawrence Kasanoff, and based in Santa Monica, California. Some of the best-known films produced by Lightstorm Entertainment include Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), True Lies (1994), [m=3188733] (1997), and Avatar (2009). Since 1995, most of the company's titles have been distributed by 20th Century Studios.
