CBD - Brazilian record company (1955- April 14, 1971), established 1955 after renaming Sociedade Interamericana de Representações" (Sinter). In 1958 bought by Philips, the company distributed Polydor and Philips in Brazil. Renamed to in April 1971. CBD also operated a recording studio > CBD and a vinyl manufacturing plant in Estrada das Furnas 1467, Rio de Janeiro, and is credited as record manufacturer for other companies, such as Elenco or Tapecar.
