The Jazz re:freshed movement was set up in May 2003 by and , two founding members of the music production outfit, . It began as a weekly live music release from other events Uprock were promoting, which were alternative hip hop, electronic soul and broken beat orientated, but broadened to embrace the world of Jazz and alternative progressive music.
