Italian label, also appears as "Music Records". Launched in 1951 by Walter Gürtler, it was based in via San Vittore 40/42 Milan, Italy. Attention ! There are some more 'Music' labels, please check. In the beginning several shellacs was released. 'Music' distributed US labels like Mercury Records, Good Time Jazz and the French Disques Vogue. Often 'Music' appears only with a small brand. The program was wide, but mainly with a spot to jazz. Beneath the international program in the beginning, more and more Italian artists joined the rooster. Tony Dallara had a strong presence, not to forget Adriano Celentano. In the summer of 1958, Guertler merged Celson and Music into a single company called Saar S.r.l. SAAR stands for Società Articoli Acustici Riprodotti = Acoustic Articles Reproduced Society. According to label-specific Information on the Saar homepage, the publication stopped in 1963. The program was reissued on the several Saar labels again and again.
