YG Entertainment (Korean: YG 엔터테인먼트) is an independent record label and talent agency founded 1996 by and based in Seoul, South Korea. It specializes in producing R&B and hip hop music. YG stands for Yang Goon and are also the initials of the chief executive officer, Yang Hyun-suk. Since 2011, YG Entertainment has attracted considerable international media attention after won the inaugural "Best Worldwide Act" at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards and , whose [r=3945023] was recognized by Guinness World Records as the "most liked video in YouTube history".
