
Record Label
Danish label started in 1978 by then 19-years old Michael Ritto and top-producer Poul Bruun. The new contender immediately began taking over artists from other danish labels and international labels and by the mid 80's Medley Records had signed a large number of Denmarks most popular artists as well as major new artists. In the early years the company of Medley Records was Medley Records was bought by EMI in 1992 and on 2 January 1992 merged with a part of Danish EMI division to form EMI-Medley (EMI-Medley A/S). The new company continued to release under the Medley label. In July 2013, following Warner Music Group's acquisition of the Parlophone Label Group (which included the EMI operating company in Denmark), the label now operates under the company Warner Music Denmark.
