FACTOR logos are typically found on projects funded by the organization. More occasionally, FACTOR releases promotional compilations or samplers showcasing funded projects and can be used as a Label - eg. [r=10462095]. FACTOR, The Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings, is a private non-profit organization dedicated to providing assistance toward the growth and development of the Canadian independent recording industry established in 1982. The foundation administers contributions from sponsoring radio broadcasters as well as two components of the Department of Canadian Heritage’s Canada Music Fund to support the Canadian music industry.
