Neon Gold Records is a New York City/London-based boutique record company founded in 2008 by Derek Davies and Lizzy Plapinger. Neon Gold specializes in 7" records, regularly releasing limited runs between 250 to 500 copies. On December 8, 2010, Neon Gold Records signed a joint venture with Columbia Records, enabling them to release more seven-inches in 2011, along with EPs and an album, which will be through RED Distribution. Neon Gold will also have an upstream deal with Columbia, who will have first pick of all the bands signed to the label.
