UK record label formed in 1997 after sold his first label to PolyGram in 1996. Independiente met success in the late '90s and early '00s with acts like or . It stopped releasing new singles and albums in 2009, becoming a catalogue management company. It was acquired by Concord Bicycle Music in 2018. The label itself is now dormant; most of the newest reissues of its releases are now bearing logo only. Do not use this page for Spanish language self-released items.
