German folk band from Duisburg, co-founded by and in late 1968 in Aachen. The band evolved from local Folk musicians and moved together in a commune in Aachen. The band's name was derived from a device for crushing hash into small pieces. They recorded a first Folk Rock album in 1971. In 1973, the band went on a hiatus in 1973, after two band members left for India. After 1974, Bursch and Kissmer recreated the band in a different line-up, which changed a couple of times in the late 1970's. In the early 1980's, the band was again stopped and it was reanimated in 1985 for a short time. In 2005, the band had a third reunion with some of the original members.
