Originally a Psychedelic Pop band from the northern Rhineland, formed in early 1969, and soon taken under the wing of then fledgling producer and engineer . The band was founded by and and moved to Cologne. It was one of the first bands produced by Conny Plank. Their first record was originally produced in German language, but due to critical reception by Plank, this version was discarded and re-recorded with English vocals. , who sang the German lyrics was not able to sing, as he expressed later, and for English lyrics, they persuaded to take over the vocal parts. Aside from Conny's enthusiasm, it seems that Gomorrha were largely unnoticed at the time, and the band split up in 1973. later embarked on a solo career as Jazz musicians, while the other members mainly didn't stay in music business.
