Band from Ghent (Belgium), founded as Gorky in 1989 by Luc De Vos (vocals, guitar), Geert Bonne (drums) and Wout De Schutter (bass). With this line-up they reached the 3rd place in Humo's Rock Rally. In 1993 the band split and Luc De Vos continued under the name Gorki, with Wim Rogge (guitar), Erik Van Biesen (bass) en Steven Van Havere (drums). Rogge left in 1996, Eric Bosteels joined as drummer in 2000. Frontman Luc De Vos died on 29 November 2014, effectively bringing an end to the band.
