Danish prog-rock band established as a Danish "supergroup" spring 1970 by leading rock and jazz artists Bent Hesselmann, Peer Frost, Lars Bisgaard, Niels Brønsted, Bo Stief and Carsten Smedegaard. Live debut 23 June at Tagskægget in Aarhus and 23 June in Copenhagen as support for Santana at Falkoner Centret. Eponymously named debut album [r=3272736] recorded in July and August 1970 and released in December same year. Same month, lead vocalist Bisgaard was suddenly replaced by Allan Mortensen, and the album was re-recorded and re-released in February 1971 with same artwork: [r=2000451]. While preparing an international release of the album, the band was forced to change name in July 1971 as a Canadian Band had the rights to their original name. Consequently, a third version - with the same recordings as the second version - of the album was released in October 1971 under the new band name Midnight Sun (4).
