Originally a solo project by Neil Barnes in 1990, Leftfield quickly became a collaboration with Paul Daley, one that lasted until 2002 when they split. During that time, 2 albums were released - [m=66073] in 1995 and [m=100010] in 1999. In 2010 Neil restarted the band without Paul and has toured a great deal since with many of the original other collaborators such as Adam Wren, Earl Sixteen & Cheshire Cat. A third album [m=844564] was released in 2015 and a fourth [m=2890702] (in collaboration with Adam Wren) in 2022, one that was rapidly followed by the [m=3174141] remix album.
