The band's history dates back to 1978, as a vocal-instrumental ensemble called Perfect Super Show and Disco Band, founded by and (former musicians). Group accompaniend to vocalists , , and . In 1980, Hołdys reached an agreement with (later the band's manager) to transform the band into a more rock-oriented band, and thus, under the shortened name Perfect, they emerged. The band achieved enormous success in the 1980s, and although the band's lineup changed several times and there were numerous breaks, the band continued to perform successfully and release albums. Ultimately, the band disbanded in 2025.
