Canadian (Quebec) keyboardist, arranger and writer. (Born 1932 (or January 15 1931) - Died April 23, 1975.) His birth name would be Frank Dervieux (see BMI & SOCAN). Breton by origin and Quebecer by nationality, Franck came from a family of musicians. At 15 years old, he was a pianist of concert in Paris and played with , and . One day, he came in Quebec with Jean-Pierre Ferland and decided to live there. He had a prolific life has a writer and arranger for and many others artist. When he was diagnosed of cancer, with a major help of his doctors, he recorded the prog symphonic album [m227776] with an all-star backing band. (The backing band included many musicians from the band Contraction). He finished his life in the Laurentians and left with an magnificient heritage for the music of Quebec.
