German musician, born January 19, 1964. At the age of 15, he wrote the song "Fred vom Jupiter" as a school labour. The song was released in 1981 and became a big underground hit of the German New Wave movement "Neue Deutsche Welle". He studied at the film university in Munich and became soundtrack composer and video editor. In the early 1990's, he continued his career as solo musician after being part of numerous bands and short projects. In the 2010's, the first of his many solo albums reached the album charts in Germany.
