First punk rock band from San Antonio, Texas. Formed 1974. Disbanded 1980. Opened for the Sex Pistols @ Randy's Rodeo, Sunday, January 8th, 1978. (Also on the Sex Pistols / The Vamps 1978 gig - San Antonio hard rock band, Ultra ex The Outcasts & ex Homer) After The Vamps disbanded, lead vocalist / frontman Frank Pugliese went on to play in Mystery Dates, The Infidels, The Morlocks, & The Sons Of Hercules.
