Shudder To Think is an American indie rock band formed in Washington, D.C. in 1986. Blending punk, pop, and glam influences, the band became known for Craig Wedren’s theatrical vocals and inventive, art-rock songwriting. After releasing several albums on Dischord Records, they became one of the label’s few acts to sign with a major label, earning critical acclaim for Pony Express Record (1994). Though mainstream success proved elusive, their distinctive sound left a lasting mark on the post-hardcore and indie scenes. After disbanding in the late 1990s, Shudder To Think have reunited several times over the years and are currently active again, with a new 7" released on Dischord Records.
