British drummer and musician. He was born 21 August 1957 in St Helens, England, UK, and was married to Susan Ballion a.k.a Siouxsie Sioux from 1991 to 2007. Together they formed (1981-2004). In October 2021, Budgie launched the Curious Creatures podcast with of which the name is a pun referring to The Cure and The Creatures. The pair have also collaborated on an album released in 2023. Budgie has been involved in various other projects, most notably with Japanese percussionist .
