Fiamma Dallo Spirito

Italian singer who also plays violin and flute. Fiamma Dallo Spirito (not Doris Norton as some claim) is the singer of “Tardo pede in magiam versus”, an album by the Italian dark prog cult band from 1972. Her real name is Vittoria Lo Turco (Bertolazzi when married), a singer and actress born in 1937 in Venaria Reale (near Turin, Italy) and lived between Genoa and Milan, gifted with a splendid voice and involved in the esoteric world of séances and the like. She worked a lot with the maestro , conductor, organist, and composer, who had also already collaborated on the aforementioned Jacula album. Bergamini had composed some songs in 1974 and, although disappointed by the discovery of the commercial flop of “Tardo pede…”, he almost certainly proposed them to Antonio Bartoccetti and, not finding availability on his part, decided to record them in an album in 1975 without however finding a record company willing to publish it. In 2022 Black Widow Records brought those unreleased recordings to light in [m2876770].
