Czech vocalist and actor. Born October 23, 1943 in Prague (former Czechoslovakia). Brother of Jan Neckář, father of Václav Neckář (2). Besides being a recording artist since 1965, he is well remembered for his main role as Miloš Hrma in the 1968 Academy Award Best Foreign Language Film “Closely Watched Trains” (ČSR 1966).
