US psychedelic folk rock band, formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1967. Named after the American supernatural fiction writer H.P. Lovecraft. Released two albums for before disbanding in 1969. Shortened their name to Lovecraft (1969-1971) releasing one album on , and later regrouping as (1975-1976).
