Floorplan is a father-and-daughter DJ and production duo from Detroit, Michigan, USA. The project consists of Robert Hood (born 1965, Detroit), a founding figure of Detroit techno, and his daughter Lyric Hood. Lyric became part of Floorplan in 2016, when she was invited to collaborate on the track [m=1029079]. Since then, Floorplan has functioned as a joint project, combining Robert Hood’s long-established background in techno and house with Lyric Hood’s vocal and creative contributions. The duo is known for releases that blend house, techno, and gospel-inspired elements.
