British quintet, likely from Gloucestershire, as Saydisc Records are an occasional sighting in the south west England charity shops. Their sole eponymous album was apparently taken from a live gig in front of a load of school kids and parents at Dartington College Hall, near Totnes, Devon, southwest England, UK. The band was formed by keyboardist and ex-Dartington College student Julian Marshall, who was later to have a top hit with rock band Marshall Hain "[m=119064]" (summer 1978) and "[m=59092]" with The Flying Lizards (a David Cunningham's project). He was roommate with cellist Hugh McDowell, who went on to play with Electric Light Orchestra. Hugh lived/hung-out for a while in a flat in Archway, London with drummer Michael Ormerod. They were all well into Weather Report, hence Quincicasm.
