Some members (Harrison, Kearney, Hearn) came from the Nottingham punk band Haze, which disbanded in 2019, giving way to a more danceable and experimental sound. Now based in London, and throughout their singles and 2024 album, influences ranging from 1980s post-punk and synth-pop to electroclash, not to mention LCD Soundsystem, have become apparent. They have dance-punk colleagues like Squid (29) and Yard Act, as well as American bands Parquet Courts and Australia's Confidence Man. Current lineup: Will Harrison (vocals/guitar), Conor Kearney (guitar), Lois Kelly (vocals/synths), Bill Griffin (bass), Barn Peiser Pepin (synths/percussion), and Dan Hearn (drums). Former member: Sam Woodroffe (bass/synth)
