Holly Humberstone (born 17 December 1999 in Grantham, Lincolnshire, England) is an English singer-songwriter. Her music sits mainly in indie pop and alternative pop, with a focus on personal, introspective lyrics that often cover mental health, relationships, and growing up. She started releasing music independently in the late 2010s and gained wider attention with the EP Falling Asleep at the Wheel (2020). This was followed by The Walls Are Way Too Thin (2021), which helped establish her as a breakout UK artist. Her debut album, Paint My Bedroom Black (2023), marked a darker and more developed sound compared to her earlier work. She has collaborated with Matty Healy of The 1975 and has toured with artists including Girl in Red, Olivia Rodrigo, and Taylor Swift. She was the winner of BBC Music Sound of 2021.
