Known as Bella or Arabella, Latham is an alt-pop singer-songwriter from Durban, South Africa. Before signing to in early 2020, and in late 2022, Latham was living out of a houseboat in London, UK and working at a record store. She was mentored by , and describes herself as a "pop anti-hero" influenced by , and among others. Latham began writing music as Baby Queen in 2017, inspired by the "the whirlwind life of Instagram influencers and fashion parties" of London.
