Brazilian composer, multi-instrumentalist, and musical innovator. Born June 22, 1936 in Lagoa da Canoa, Alagoas, Brazil. Died September 14, 2025 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Known for his experimental approach and ability to play virtually any instrument, Pascoal was a highly influential figure in Brazilian and international jazz and avant-garde music. He collaborated with renowned artists such as Miles Davis and was famous for incorporating everyday objects into his performances.
