Scarlet Stories

Scarlet Stories is a Dutch band from Tilburg, who became known for their unique dark progressive music with an eclectic range of musical influences, such as heavy metal, ambient, film scores and doom. After 2 EP's (2013 & 2015), in September 2019 they released their debut-album ‘Necrologies’ (Necrologies – obituary/list of deaths), which received critical acclaim from the press, like NRC, iO Pages, Music Maker and Aardschok. The album was recorded under supervision of producer, musician & sound- engineer Joost van den Broek at Sandlane Recording Facilities. Van den Broek has produced, recorded and mixed albums for a.o. Ayreon, Powerwolf, Navarone and MaYan.
