Pakistani sitar player, born in 1969 in Lahore. Son of the renowned sitar master . Like his father and grandfather, he belongs to the illustrious Poonch Gharana school of traditional sitar. Since 2000 he has mainly lived in Hamburg, Germany and Oslo, Norway. He teaches classical South Asian music at the in Oslo.
