Japanese electronic producer. Born: 1977 in Tokyo, Japan. Makoto Shimizu is best known for his drum'n'bass work, inspired by the albums LTJ Bukem "[m=32062]" (1996) and Goldie "[m=184569]" (1995), he has gone on to both produce and remix. One widely known track was actually the downtempo single "[m=387966]" (2001) featuring vocalist Lori Fine of group Coldfeet, taken from his seminal debut album "[m=50239]" (2003).
