Hanne Borchgrevink

Norwegian visual artist, born September 24, 1951 in Oslo. She was educated at the Norwegian School of Handicrafts and Industrial Industry 1971-74 in Oslo and the Norwegian Academy of Fine Arts in Oslo 1974-79. She debuted at the Autumn Exhibition in Oslo in 1974 and has worked with painting and graphics, especially woodcuts. She is married to the artist Tore Hansen. Together with her husband, she was awarded the Hedmark County Culture Prize in 2002.
