Japanese singer-songwriter, lyricist, arranger and producer. Born April 11, 1972 in Saitama. Died July 26, 2010. Originally started her music career in 1994 as Yuko Nakajima (中島優子) (Nakazima on "Here Come The Girls" circa 1995), Nakajima being her maiden name. She rebranded her self as "bice" in April 1998, to pursue music more akin to her personal taste. Since 1997, Yuko provided music and arrangements for other artists, such Zentaro Watanabe's solo project atami, Hideki Kaji, SUGIZO, NORTHERN BRIGHT, folk band in the UK, Tudor Lodge Japan performance support, sound of TV dramas and TV animations. As well as a commercial in 2004, for Matsushita Electric Industrial (now Panasonic). On July 26, 2010, her husband, Hayato Kijima (来嶋勇人), announced that she had died at home due to myocardial infarction (a heart attack). She was 38 years old. The funeral and farewell ceremony was attended only by relatives.
