Formed in 1994 by aka (guitarist from Shelter (2) and 108 (3)) and drummer (from 108 (3) and ), Texas Is The Reason took its name from the ' song "Bullet". The group disbanded in 1997, briefly reformed in 2006 and 2012-2013. Band members would go on to form (with members from Jawbreaker or Lifetime (2)), (with members of and ) or (with Samiam members).
