Axolotes Mexicanos is an indie pop band from Asturias (Spain) based in Madrid. Olaya and Stephen met in the school and decided to start a band. They completed their new group with Juan (also plays in Carolina Durante), Olaya’s twin brother. Stephen J. Lyne (bass) left the band in 2018, but re-entered again in 2020. Nowadays members of the band are: Olaya Pedrayes (vocals), Juan Pedrayes (drums), Mario Del Valle (guitar) from Carolina Durante, Stephen Lyne (bass) and Lucas De La Iglesia (guitar and backing vocals) from Confeti De Odio.
