Jemma Freeman and The Cosmic Something is the new project of Bella Union’s dreamy-psych band Landshapes’ songwriter and guitarist, Jemma Freeman. After self-releasing ‘Helen is a Reptile’ in 2018, the single was quickly picked up by 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq and Radio X’s John Kennedy. Jemma Freeman and The Cosmic Something also caught the attention of the team at Trapped Animal Records and the debut album was subsequently released in October 2019.
