Munich Fusion Rock supergroup project fronted by . Being a successful drummer in the 1960's, Weiss forced his idea to move drums and percussion to the core of a music ensemble in the late 1960's. During 1970, he contacted a couple of drummers and pecussionists and founded the band called "Niagara" in 1971. He managed to complete the band with 7 other percussionists and drummers, including later prominent artist . After the first album in 1971 became successful, he changed the concept of the band and Niagara became a Fusion Rock band for their second album in 1972 with a completely different lineup. In 1973, the band returned more to the percussion based Fusion concept with again different artists. With this concept, the last album of the band was released in 1973. The same year, the band was dissolved by Weiss. For the French pop duo, please use Niagara (2).
