The City Gates

Hailing from Montreal, Canada, The City Gates are an post-punk-gaze outfit inspired by the 80’s & 90’s shoegaze and dream pop scene. The four-piece creates haunting guitars, eclectic and ethereal sounds: “By using guitars with lots of fuzz, reverb, and delay pedals, the band creates an incredibly beautiful ambient and energetic sound” (Justin Lam, Antidotes Magazine, 2014).
